  Its a park you'd have to come and see for yourself. Its beautiful. Squirrels live in the trees, ducks live in the ponds, children play in the playground, families party in their area, friends play frisbee, dogs play in the dog park, and pony rides are given. There are public restrooms. Great place to host parties or other gatherings.

  We stay at the Radisson and walk across the street, cut through the YMCA parking lot, and end up on this walk every time we stay in Santa Maria. The dog park is full of local dogs and dog owners, and the people we talked to were very friendly. The walk around the loop is probably around 2.5-3 miles, and the loop takes you by a lake where bossy geese honk at our clueless dogs. There are several large picnic areas complete with tables and those beautiful grills for large bbq meals. We love this place!
